Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a overall score of 79.5 against 77.5. Huawei Mate 20 is a newer and lighter device than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it is also a bit thicker. Huawei Mate 20 has a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a little bit higher 1080 x 2244px resolution, a just a bit more pixels per display inch and a bit larger display. The Huawei Mate 20 has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same (4K) video quality and the same resolution camera in the back, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and video and a much bigger sensor.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with superior battery performance than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20, otherwise you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, letting go a couple specs and features.
