Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Poco X2, having a 79.5 score against 79.3. The Huawei Mate 20 body is a little lighter and a little thinner than Xiaomi Poco X2, even though it was released around a year before. Both phones we are comparing come with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Poco X2 has Android 11 version.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Poco X2, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Poco X2, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a just a bit less pixels per screen inch and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Poco X2, because it has 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Poco X2 shoots much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing images and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also counts with a way larger camera sensor shooting much better quality photographs and videos and a lot more MP back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Poco X2 features just a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
