The Huawei Mate 20 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, getting a general score of 79.5 against 78.3. The Huawei Mate 20 construction has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, but it's just a bit heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has Android 11, so it counts with lots of additional features and optimized performance.
Huawei Mate 20 features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 features a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, more brightness and a quite greater pixels number in each display inch.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, although it has a smaller sensor giving a worse image quality and a lot worse 12 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, they both have a F1.8 aperture. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 counts with a better memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has superior battery life than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
