Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a 79.5 score against 76.6. Although the Huawei Mate 20 is older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's design is just a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version, so it gives some extra features.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, although it has a just a little less pixels per screen inch and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244, they both have a screen of the same size. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same aperture, the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a bigger sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures and a lot higher 48 MP resolution back-facing camera.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has better battery performance than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, resigning a couple features and specs.
