Google Pixel 5 is slightly better than Huawei Mate 30 5G, having a general score of 89 against 87.4. Google Pixel 5's body is newer, just a bit thinner and much lighter than the Huawei Mate 30 5G. Google Pixel 5 has a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Google Pixel 5 also counts with a bit greater count of pixels in each display inch.
Huawei Mate 30 5G has a little bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 5. They have a 8 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Huawei Mate 30 5G takes much better photos and videos than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light photos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 30 5G also counts with a back camera with lot more mega-pixels and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor.
Google Pixel 5's memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as Huawei Mate 30 5G's one, both have exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 30 5G has just a little better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 5, because it has a 3 percent larger battery capacity.
