Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 5G is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 20, with a score of 87.4 against 86.1. Despite being the best in this review, the Huawei Mate 30 5G body is older, heavier and somewhat thicker than the Motorola Edge 20. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 30 5G has the older 10 version and Motorola Edge 20 has Android 11 version.
Huawei Mate 30 5G features a little bit better performance than Motorola Edge 20. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Motorola Edge 20 has a display that's very similar to the screen in Huawei Mate 30 5G, although the Motorola Edge 20 also has a bit larger screen, a just a little greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
The Motorola Edge 20 features a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition, the Motorola Edge 20 also counts with a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
Motorola Edge 20's memory for games and applications is just as good as the Huawei Mate 30 5G one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 30 5G has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 20, because it has a 5 percent greater battery capacity.
