Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 5G is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A40, with a global score of 87.4 against 79.6. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 30 5G has the older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version. Despite being the best in this review, Huawei Mate 30 5G's design is incredibly heavier and just a bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy A40.
The Huawei Mate 30 5G counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 30 5G also has more RAM. The Galaxy A40 features a bit better display than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Galaxy A40 also counts with a bit greater number of pixels per inch of display.
Huawei Mate 30 5G captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a way better resolution camera in the back and a way higher video resolution.
The Galaxy A40 counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei Mate 30 5G has improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 35% greater battery size.
