Huawei Mate 30 5G is much better than the Xiaomi 12, getting an 87.4 score against 78.8. The Huawei Mate 30 5G design is a lot older, a little heavier and a little thicker than the Xiaomi 12. Both phones in this comparison review include Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 30 5G has 10 version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12.
Xiaomi 12 counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little better pixels density. The Huawei Mate 30 5G features a much better hardware performance than Xiaomi 12. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The Xiaomi 12 and Huawei Mate 30 5G both count with extremely similar storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi 12 features a little better battery duration than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because it has a 7% greater battery size.
The Xiaomi 12 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs or videos in poorly lited environments and a smaller back-facing camera sensor which provides a lower photo and video quality, it also counts with a way better video quality and a camera in the back with more mega-pixels.
