The Huawei Mate 30 5G is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 8, with a overall score of 87.4 against 83.3. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. Huawei Mate 30 5G's design is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 8's, although it is somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker.
