Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is better than Asus ROG Phone 8, having a 90.5 score against 79.5. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has the previous 10 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's design has the same thickness than Asus ROG Phone 8, but it's lighter.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much better display than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density and a bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a quite larger display. Asus ROG Phone 8's storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's one, both have the same 256 GB internal memory.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a much better performing processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs and videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a larger back camera sensor capturing better quality photos and a more mega pixels back-facing camera.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has longer battery life than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
