Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a general score of 90.9, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's 90.5 global score. Even though the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is newer than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, it's a little bit thicker and a bit heavier. These phones use the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding OS features.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G. They have a Octa-Core processor and 8 GB of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because it has a little higher 1334 x 2772 resolution, a little larger screen and a quite better pixel number per inch of screen.
