Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is just a bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ, getting a score of 90.5 against 84.3. Despite being the best device in this review, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is a somewhat heavier and just a little thicker device than the LG G8 ThinQ. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has the previous 10 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and the LG G8 ThinQ count with similar processing units, and although the LG G8 ThinQ has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. LG G8 ThinQ features a brighter screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a higher pixels quantity in each screen inch.

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G takes better videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G also counts with a back camera with way more mega pixels and a lot bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a very superior memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has better battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3500mAh.
