Comparison review
Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a global score of 90.5, which is just a bit better than the Xperia 5 II's general score of 87.2. Although the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is a better cellphone than the Xperia 5 II, it must be told that it's also older, somewhat thicker and heavier. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and Xperia 5 II feature incredibly similar CPUs, both have the same number of cores and 8 GB of RAM memory.
The Xperia 5 II counts with a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G counts with a superior camera than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have a same size back camera sensor and the same video definition, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G also counts with a larger aperture and a lot higher 40 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Xperia 5 II features a better memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
