Huawei Mate 30 is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 4 XL, having a general score of 84 against 82.9. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Huawei Mate 30 is an a little thicker and just a bit heavier phone than the Google Pixel 4 XL. The Google Pixel 4 XL has just a bit better display than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a higher 1440 x 3040 pixels resolution.
The Huawei Mate 30 has much more memory capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a processor that is very similar to the processing unit in Huawei Mate 30, and although the Google Pixel 4 XL has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Huawei Mate 30 takes much clearer videos and photos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a much better 40 mega-pixels resolution camera, a way larger camera sensor and faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Huawei Mate 30 has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
