Comparison review
Huawei Mate 30 is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 20, getting a score of 84 against 79.5. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 30 has the older 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Huawei Mate 30's body has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 20, but it's a bit heavier.
The Huawei Mate 30 has just a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a higher amount of RAM. Huawei Mate 20 features a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate 30, although it has a quite smaller display, a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a quite worse display pixel density.
Huawei Mate 30 takes much better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have a same size camera aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a back camera with a much better resolution, a lot larger sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality and faster video frame rate.
Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 30 both feature quite similar memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, they have equal internal memory. The Huawei Mate 30 features a little longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
