Huawei Mate 30 is a bit better than Huawei nova 5T, getting a general score of 84 against 80.8. Both phones in this comparison review work with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features. Despite being the best we compare here, we must highlight that it is also somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker.
Huawei Mate 30 features a bit faster processing unit than Huawei nova 5T, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei nova 5T features a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display.
Huawei Mate 30 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has a lesser megapixels resolution back facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, and they both have the same aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Huawei nova 5T's memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as Huawei Mate 30's one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. Huawei Mate 30 features just a bit better battery life than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.
