Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 is a little bit better than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), getting a global score of 84 against 76.5. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 30 has the older 10 version and Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Huawei Mate 30's design has the same thickness than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), but it's a bit heavier.
Huawei Mate 30 features a bit superior processing unit than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Huawei Mate 30 has a little more vivid display than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because although it has a just a little worse screen density, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2340px resolution and a little bigger display.
Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has much more memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 30, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei Mate 30 counts with just a bit better battery life than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Huawei Mate 30 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have a same size aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a lot better 40 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a lot higher (4K) video quality.
