Huawei P30 Pro New Edition is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 30, having a general score of 85.9 against 84. Both devices in this comparison review have the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding that. Huawei P30 Pro New Edition's construction has the same thickness than the Huawei Mate 30, but it is a little lighter.
The Huawei Mate 30 has just a bit better performance than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount. The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition and Huawei Mate 30 both have really similar displays, because although the Huawei P30 Pro New Edition has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little bit higher display density.
The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition features a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 30, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 30 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P30 Pro New Edition, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking photographs and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a same resolution back camera, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with better video frame rates and a bigger camera sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality.
Huawei P30 Pro New Edition's battery lifetime is just as good as Huawei Mate 30's battery lifetime.
