Comparison review
Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 30's 84 overall score. Huawei P40 is a lighter cellphone than Huawei Mate 30, but both are equally thin. Both devices in this comparison review include the same Android 10 OS (operating system). Huawei P40's processing unit is very similar to the processing unit in Huawei Mate 30, and although the Huawei P40 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Huawei P40 has just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Huawei P40 also counts with a little bit better amount of pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei P40's memory to install applications and games is just as good as Huawei Mate 30's one, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory.
The Huawei P40 features a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a more mega pixels back camera and a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Huawei Mate 30 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 3800mAh.
