Comparison review
LG Velvet has a score of 87.1, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 30's 84 overall score. The LG Velvet is a a little lighter and just a bit thinner cellphone than Huawei Mate 30, even when they were released only 8 months apart. LG Velvet counts with a display that's just as good as the Huawei Mate 30 one, although the LG Velvet also has a slightly higher 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution, a little bit better pixels density and a little bit larger screen.
The Huawei Mate 30 features a bit faster processing unit than LG Velvet, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also has more RAM memory. The LG Velvet has a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 30, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG Velvet also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
Huawei Mate 30 captures a bit better pictures and videos than LG Velvet, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lower 40 mega-pixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, and they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a much better image and video quality.
LG Velvet features a little longer battery life than Huawei Mate 30, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.
