The Huawei Mate 30 is slightly better than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, getting a global score of 84 against 77. Although it's the best phone in this review, the Huawei Mate 30 is a older, just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier phone than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 30 has the older 10 version while Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13.
The Huawei Mate 30 features a much better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40 Neo. Both of them have 8 GB of RAM and 8 cpu cores. Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a sharper display than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch and a slightly better 1080 x 2400px resolution.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has as much storage to install applications and games as the Huawei Mate 30, both of them have equal internal memory capacity. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has superior battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 30, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 30 has a little bit better camera than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has a back-facing camera with a lower 40 mega-pixels resolution and a worse (4K) video resolution, they both have a F1.8 aperture and a 0.67 inches back camera sensor.
