The Huawei Mate 30 has a global score of 84, which is just a bit better than the Moto G31's 77 global score. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but Huawei Mate 30 has the older 10 version and Moto G31 has Android 11 version. Huawei Mate 30 is an extremely older and a bit heavier phone than the Moto G31, but Huawei could make it a bit thinner anyway.
The Huawei Mate 30 features a bit faster processing unit than Moto G31, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Moto G31 counts with a display that's just as good as the screen in Huawei Mate 30, because although the Moto G31 has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a bit higher 1080 x 2400px resolution.
Huawei Mate 30 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Moto G31, because although it has a worse 40 mega pixels resolution camera, and they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a much better (4K) video resolution. The Moto G31 features a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
The Moto G31 counts with improved battery performance than Huawei Mate 30, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.
