Huawei Mate 30 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, with a score of 84 against 77.8. Huawei Mate 30's construction is notably newer and just a bit thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 30 has 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2.

The Huawei Mate 30 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same video definition, the Huawei Mate 30 also has better 60 frames per second video frame rate, a way higher 40 MP resolution back facing camera, a bigger aperture and a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and pictures.
Huawei Mate 30 features a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 50 percent bigger battery capacity.
