The Xperia 5 II has an overall score of 87.2, which is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 30's general score of 84. The Xperia 5 II is a newer device, and it is also a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Huawei Mate 30. The Xperia 5 II features a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher count of pixels per inch in the screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2520.

Xperia 5 II's processing unit is very similar to the Huawei Mate 30 one, they have a Octa-Core CPU and a 8 GB RAM memory. Huawei Mate 30 has a better camera than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking photographs in low-light situations and worse 60 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality pictures and videos and a back facing camera with way more MP.

Huawei Mate 30 has a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 5 percent larger battery size.
