Huawei Mate 30 has a global score of 84, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z5's 77.6 general score. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 30 has the newer 10 version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1. Huawei Mate 30's design is a lot newer than Xperia Z5's, although it's extremely heavier and thicker.
The Huawei Mate 30 features a bit better CPU than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. The Sony Xperia Z5 has a more vivid display than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a little bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a quite better display density.
Huawei Mate 30 has a superior camera than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have the same aperture and the same video definition, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a lot bigger sensor, better 60 frames per second video frame rates and a much higher 40 mega pixels resolution camera in the back. The Huawei Mate 30 counts with a greater storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z5, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
