Huawei Mate 30 has a general score of 84, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8's 83.3 score. Even though the Huawei Mate 30 is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 8, it's heavier and just a little bit thicker. Both phones in this comparison work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding OS features.
Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a little bit better display than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2248px and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
