The Huawei Mate 30 has an overall score of 84, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G's global score of 81.5. The Huawei Mate 30 is a way older and just a little heavier cellphone than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, but Huawei was able to make it a little bit thinner anyway. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 30 has older 10 version while Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has Android 11.
The Huawei Mate 30 and the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G both have very similar screens, and although the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little bit higher pixel count per inch in the screen, they both have a screen with the same size. Huawei Mate 30 has a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also has 4 GB more RAM.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Huawei Mate 30 has a much better camera than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because although it has a lower resolution back facing camera, and they both have a same size aperture, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has superior battery life than Huawei Mate 30, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
