Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a global score of 90.9, which is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 7's 83.9 general score. Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner phone than Asus ZenFone 7, even though they were released with only 2 months difference. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version and Asus ZenFone 7 has Android 11 version.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a bit better performance than Asus ZenFone 7, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM. Asus ZenFone 7 has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a little inferior pixels count per display inch, a little smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little bit better camera than Asus ZenFone 7, because although it has a much worse video quality, a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography and videos and a camera in the back with a lot lower resolution, it also counts with a much bigger back camera sensor taking lot higher quality photos and videos.
Asus ZenFone 7 counts with a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 7 features a little longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 4400mAh.
