Comparison review
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has an overall score of 90.9, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro's global score of 88.3. Even when the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro were released only a couple months apart, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a little lighter and a little bit thinner. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has an older 10 version and Asus ZenFone 7 Pro has Android 11.
The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro's processing unit is just as good as the processing unit in Huawei Mate 40 Pro, both of them have a 8 GB RAM and 8 processing cores. The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro counts with a bit better display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a little smaller display, a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a bit less pixels per screen inch.
Asus ZenFone 7 Pro has a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro counts with just a bit longer battery life than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 14% bigger battery capacity.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little bit better camera than Asus ZenFone 7 Pro, because although it has a lot worse 3840x2160 video definition, a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low-light photos and video and a camera in the back with lot less megapixels, it also counts with a way bigger sensor taking way better quality videos and pictures.
