Comparison review
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a global score of 90.9, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 8's 83 global score. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version while Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11. Despite being the best we are comparing here, we must highlight that it is also way heavier and a bit thicker.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a bit better processor than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. The Asus ZenFone 8 has a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a just a little worse display density, a little bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit smaller display.
Asus ZenFone 8 features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a lot smaller back-facing camera sensor offering a way lower image quality, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture, a lot better 7680x4320 video quality and a way better 64 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 256 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little better battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
