Comparison review
Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), having a general score of 90.9 against 77.4. These devices include Android OS, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the previous 10 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is newer than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), it is just a little thicker and somewhat heavier.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has just a bit better display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has a higher 1334 x 2772 pixels resolution, a little more pixels per inch of screen and a bit larger screen. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has much more memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit faster processor than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro takes much clearer videos and photos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a much better 50 mega-pixels resolution camera, a way larger camera sensor and faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4400mAh.
