Comparison review
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a score of 90.9, which is much better than the HTC One M9's 77.7 global score. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the newer 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, providing the user some nice extra features. Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a much newer and just a bit thinner cellphone than HTC One M9, but it is also heavier.
The HTC One M9 features a bit faster CPU than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit CPU and a GPU. HTC One M9 features a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a little less pixels per inch of screen and a way smaller display.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots way better photos and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light images and video, a much more megapixels back-facing camera, a lot larger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and better video frame rate.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a really longer battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 55% greater battery capacity.
