The Huawei Mate 40 Pro body is newer than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro's, although it's somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better screen density and a slightly higher 1440 x 3120px resolution.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
