Comparison review
Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than the Huawei nova 3, getting a 90.9 score against 76.3. Both devices we compare here have Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version while Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo. Even though the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much newer than Huawei nova 3, it's thicker and incredibly heavier.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little better processing power than Huawei nova 3, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little more vivid screen than Huawei nova 3, because it has a little bit bigger display, a just a bit better screen density and a higher 1334 x 2772px resolution.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features slightly more storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei nova 3, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro takes much clearer photos and videos than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with higher 60 frames per second video frame rate and a camera in the back with a way higher 50 mega pixels resolution.
