Both of these phones have the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding that. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro body is a lot newer, but thicker and notably heavier than LG V40 ThinQ.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a bit more powerful processing unit than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
