Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a global score of 90.9, which is a bit better than LG Velvet's score of 87.1. Although it's the best phone in this comparison review, it must be noted that it is also a somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker phone. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little more vivid display than LG Velvet, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a little higher resolution of 1334 x 2772px and a little bit greater screen density.
LG Velvet features a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little bit better performance than LG Velvet, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro takes a little bit better videos and photos than LG Velvet, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a camera in the back with a better 50 MP resolution, faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a much bigger sensor capturing much higher quality photos.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has just a little bit longer battery life than LG Velvet, because it has a 2% larger battery size.
