Comparison review

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a global score of 90.9, which is better than Moto G Power's 76.1 general score. Although the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and the Moto G Power were released only a couple of months apart, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro design is a little bit thinner but also just a little bit heavier. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version and Moto G Power has Android 11.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little sharper display than Motorola Moto G Power, because it has a quite larger display, a little bit greater pixels density and a higher 1334 x 2772 pixels resolution. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features more memory capacity for games and applications than Moto G Power, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a bit faster CPU than Motorola Moto G Power, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. The Motorola Moto G Power features a little better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 14 percent bigger battery size.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a greater camera than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a back camera with a much higher 50 mega-pixels resolution, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.
