Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, with a score of 90.9 against 80.1. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro body is newer than the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren's, but it's a bit thicker and a bit heavier. Both of these devices include the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding OS features.
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a processing unit that is just as good as Huawei Mate 40 Pro's processor, and although the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has more RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren counts with a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a just a little greater pixel count per inch of display.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little bit better camera than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos, and they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality and a more megapixels back facing camera.
OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren's memory for games and applications is just as good as the Huawei Mate 40 Pro one, both of them have exactly the same internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 40 Pro has just a bit longer battery lifetime than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, because it has an 8 percent greater battery capacity.
