Comparison review
Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than Samsung Galaxy A40, getting a 90.9 score against 79.6. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has an older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro body is newer, but somewhat thicker and a lot heavier than Samsung Galaxy A40.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy A40, because it has a bigger screen, a little better screen pixels density and a better resolution of 1334 x 2772. Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a better performing CPU than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots greater pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photography and video, it also counts with a back camera with way more megapixels, a lot higher video definition and a lot larger camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a quite bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A40, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
