Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a general score of 90.9, which is a bit better than Galaxy Note8's general score of 83. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the older 10 version while Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though Huawei Mate 40 Pro is notably newer than the Galaxy Note8, it's a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has more RAM memory. Galaxy Note8 counts with just a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a just a bit greater pixels quantity per screen inch.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots a lot better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rates, a way larger camera sensor which gives a way better photo and video quality and a way better 50 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
