Galaxy S20 is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, with a general score of 94.8 against 90.9. Galaxy S20's design is way lighter and thinner than the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, even though they were released only a couple of months apart. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Galaxy S20 has newer 13 version and Huawei Mate 40 Pro has Android 10 version, counting with some nice extra features.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S20, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Samsung Galaxy S20 features a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a higher screen density.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a superior camera than Galaxy S20, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a much bigger sensor, higher video frame rate and a back camera with a way better 50 MP resolution.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S20, because it has a 10 percent larger battery size.
