Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S22 is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, getting a 93.4 score against 90.9. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S22 has the newer 13 version while Huawei Mate 40 Pro has Android 10 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy S22 design is newer, much lighter and thinner than Huawei Mate 40 Pro.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy S22. They have 8 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Galaxy S22 features a sharper display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a little worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, a just a little less pixels per inch of display and a little smaller display.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S22, because it has 256 GB internal memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S22, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.

The Galaxy S22 and Huawei Mate 40 Pro count with similar cameras, because although the Galaxy S22 has a tinier camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and pictures, and they both have a camera with a 50 MP resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low light photos and a way higher 7680x4320 video quality.
