Comparison review
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a general score of 90.9, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6's overall score of 87.4. Huawei Mate 40 Pro's design is way newer, but a lot heavier and much thicker than Samsung Galaxy S6. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the newer 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S6 has Android 5.0 version.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a sharper screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen density. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has just a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has 5 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an extra graphics co-processor.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6, because it has 128 GB more internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro captures greater photos and videos than Galaxy S6, and although they both have a F1.9 aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a camera in the back with a lot better resolution, better video frame rate and a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking way higher quality videos and photographs.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 73 percent greater battery capacity.
