Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, getting a overall score of 90.9 against 80.1. Although the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro were released with only a couple of months difference, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is extremely thinner and somewhat lighter. Both devices we are comparing have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the previous 10 version and Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little bit better screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a little bit lower 1440 x 2560 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per screen inch.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a greater storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 40 Pro takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a lot tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a lot larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much more MP camera in the back and a way higher (4K) video resolution.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro features just a little better battery performance than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 4400mAh.
