Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a general score of 90.9, which is much better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium's score of 82.2. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro construction is way newer, somewhat lighter and noticeably thinner than the Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has an incredibly better looking display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a much better screen pixels density.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a little better processing power than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has more RAM memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro captures much clearer photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video quality, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a camera with way more mega-pixels, a much larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and faster video frame rates.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a better memory capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with greater battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4400mAh battery size.
