Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a global score of 90.9, which is better than the Xiaomi 12 Pro's 79.6 score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the previous 10 version while Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12 version. Although Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a better device than the Xiaomi 12 Pro, we must tell that it's also older, a little heavier and thicker.
Xiaomi 12 Pro features a sharper screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 1440 x 3200 resolution and a little bit higher number of pixels in each inch in the display. Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a much better performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Xiaomi 12 Pro has just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 4600mAh battery size against 4400mAh. Xiaomi 12 Pro shoots clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, and although they both have a F1.9 diafragm aperture, a back-facing camera with a 50 MP and a 0.78 inches sensor, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also has a way better video resolution.
