Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 4, having a 90.9 score against 88.3. Even though Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Xiaomi Black Shark 4 were released only a couple of months apart, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro design is a little bit heavier but also somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Black Shark 4. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version while Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has Android 11.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Xiaomi Black Shark 4 have incredibly similar processors, both of them have the same number of cores and 8 GB of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a bit better display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a quite smaller display, a just a little less pixels per inch of screen and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because it has more internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a much larger sensor taking way higher quality videos and photos and a more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has just a bit better battery performance than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 2% greater battery capacity.
