The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, getting a 90.9 score against 88.9. Both of these phones come with the same Android 10 OS, so they should provide the user very similar OS features. Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a newer cellphone, and it's also somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1334 x 2772 pixels and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher quantity of pixels in each screen inch. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a CPU that's very similar to the Huawei Mate 40 Pro one, and although the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has more RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a much less MP resolution camera in the back, a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting images or video in low-light environments and a lower 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a little bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity instead of 4050mAh.
