Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, with a global score of 91.5 against 90.9. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a newer 12 version and Huawei Mate 40 Pro has Android 10, so it gives you lots of additional features and performance enhancements. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer body is much newer, just a bit thinner and a bit lighter than the Huawei Mate 40 Pro.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer. They have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a slightly better screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a bit smaller screen, a bit lower screen pixel density and a bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features a better camera than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor and worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also counts with a camera with lot more mega-pixels and a larger diafragm aperture for better photos and video in low-light situations.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer have similar memory to install games and applications, both have exactly the same internal memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro features just a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity against 4300mAh.
