Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro, getting a 90.9 score against 77.1. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro has Android 13. Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro features a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little smaller display and a little worse pixel density.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a very superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro. Both have a 8 GB RAM and 8 processing cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro features a much better storage to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, and although they both have equal 256 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro, because although it has a way lower resolution back facing camera and a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photos or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a bigger sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4400mAh.
